Retiring Committee members, Eve Fairbairn & Andree Lupton
It is with a mix of gratitude and sadness that we announce the resignation of Eve Fairbairn and Andree Lupton from their voluntary positions on the PAA committee. Eve and Andree have been invaluable members of our team since their appointment at the Annual General Meeting in 2020.
During their time with us, Eve and Andree have been involved in various impactful projects, showcasing their passion and dedication to the Pilates community. Together, they spearheaded the Pilates Elders project, an initiative that aimed to honour and preserve the wisdom and experiences of Pilates elders.
Eve, with her remarkable energy and enthusiasm, played an instrumental role in the successful planning and execution of the 2021 conference and has been key in obtaining interviews with Benjamin Degenhardt and building a partnership with The Pilates Link. Beyond the conference, she wholeheartedly engaged in organising and hosting our monthly member masterclasses, hosting podcasts, writing thought-provoking articles, and assisting the Education Chair. Her tireless efforts have contributed significantly to the success of our organisation.
Andree has contributed to the ongoing administration and development of member benefits, enhancing the experience and value for our PAA community. More recently she has been working to provide a second-hand bookstall for the conference, allowing fellow members to share their unused Pilates resources. Andree also brought enlightening articles to our community.
We are grateful for the time, energy, and expertise Eve and Andree have invested in the PAA community and understand and respect their decisions to step down from their roles due to business and personal reasons. We wish them both the very best in their future endeavours and hope that they will continue to shine brightly wherever their paths may lead.
Thank you, Eve and Andree, for your dedication, expertise, and friendship. You will be dearly missed, but your influence will continue to inspire us all.
